Job summary

The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full-time Patient Services Specialist II or III for the Plastic Surgery West Clinic in Southwest Portland. You will join a patient-focused team that values compassionate service and efficient, friendly coordination of care.

Responsibilities include checking patients in/out, handling referrals, scheduling appointments, and obtaining insurance details. Prior EMR or Epic experience is preferred, with strong communication and multitasking skills essential to success.

Qualifications

• Three years of work experience, preferably in a medical office.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance requirements, medical terminology, and office procedures.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and out.
• Manage inbound referrals and schedule appointments.
• Answer and direct calls on a multi-line system.
• Obtain and verify insurance information.
• Handle cosmetic patient inquiries and schedule appropriately.
• Support administrative and clinical team; cross-trained in multiple areas.
