Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin's Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver specialty medical care in outpatient and surgical settings. The APP will work with a multidisciplinary team to support patient care, safety, research, and teaching at the Tosa Center in Wauwatosa, WI, and in Menomonee Falls.

Responsibilities include assisting surgeons in OR procedures, documenting notes, coordinating care, and contributing to quality initiatives

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a surgical specialty.
• Master's Degree or higher in Nursing for APRN, or PA degree for Physician Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in diagnosis and treatment of plastic surgery conditions.
• Support surgeons with procedures in the operating room.
• Write progress notes, procedure notes, and admission/transfer orders.
• Order, perform, and interpret screening and diagnostic procedures and tests; communicate results.
• Facilitate continuity of care with patients, families, and staff.
