Medical College of Wisconsin’s Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to deliver specialty medical care in outpatient and surgical settings in Wauwatosa and Menomonee Falls, WI. The APP collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to support patient care, safety, research, and teaching.

The ideal candidate will have surgical experience, 2+ years in a surgical specialty, and appropriate NP/PA credentials with licensure in Wisconsin.

Qualificações

• Minimum: APRN with Master’s or PA with BA/BS in PA studies.
• BLS certification and DEA eligibility required.
• Experience in surgical specialty preferred.
• Experience supporting OR procedures is required or preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams for diagnosis and treatment.
• Supports surgeons with operating room procedures.
• Documents progress notes, orders, and test results accurately and timely.
• Performs and interprets screening and diagnostic procedures as appropriate.
• Engages in patient and family communications to ensure continuity of care.
