Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking an APP (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for the Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery team. The role is full-time, outpatient-focused, with no nights or weekends, located in the Center for Advanced Medicine in Saint Louis.

The APP will evaluate new consults, manage postoperative follow-up, and perform minor procedures in collaboration with surgeons, contributing to patient-centered plans and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing with NP emphasis and advanced practice licensure.
• PA program graduate with current state licensure or eligibility.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in outpatient clinic.
• Obtain history, perform assessments, order and interpret studies.
• Develop patient-centered plans in collaboration with surgeons.
• Manage post-operative follow-ups and non-operative care.
• Perform minor in-office procedures and suturing as needed.
• Support clinical research activities and quality initiatives.
