Job summary

Anderson|Biro, LLC is seeking a Quality Control Technician to ensure plastic sheet products meet quality standards and customer specifications. You will inspect surfaces, measure dimensions, verify thickness with micrometers, and document results throughout production.

The role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and safety awareness in a manufacturing setting. Cross-training and collaboration with production teams are encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Basic math proficiency and accurate measurement with tape measures.
• Able to read and use a tape measure accurately.
• Good time management and multitasking abilities.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Follow written procedures and safety guidelines.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Inspect plastic sheet surfaces for defects and quality issues.
• Measure product dimensions, including length, width, and squareness.
• Utilize micrometers to verify product thickness.
• Perform color verification using color measurement equipment.
• Conduct shrinkage testing of plastic materials using laboratory ovens.
• Collect and test production samples from manufacturing lines.
• Accurately document inspection results, test data, and quality records.
• Count and verify plastic sheet quantities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support production operations through cross-training to gain knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Assist with additional duties and projects as assigned by management.
