Job summary

BuzzBallz seeks a Plastic Process Technician to operate, monitor, and troubleshoot molding equipment at our Carrollton, TX facility. You will set up processes for injection/blow molding, verify quality with calipers and gauges, and collaborate with engineering to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, performing changeovers, maintaining documentation in ERP, and ensuring safety and continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Plastic Process Technician, Machine Operator, or similar role.
• Experience with plastic molding processes such as injection molding, blow molding, or extrusion.
• Experience using measuring tools to verify product quality.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Strong troubleshooting, mechanical, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with quality control practices and SPC methods.
• Comfortable with hand tools, machinery, and industrial equipment.
• Basic computer skills including Windows-based systems and ERP platforms.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot plastic molding processes.
• Adjust machine settings to maintain performance, quality, and production output.
• Perform mold changeovers and machine calibrations.
• Monitor product quality, identify defects, and take corrective action.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on molding machines.
• Read blueprints and work instructions to ensure accurate setup.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to reduce scrap.
• Complete production, quality, and maintenance documentation (ERP).
• Train and support operators on machine operation and safety.
• Assist with new equipment installations and process improvements.
• Troubleshoot issues related to equipment, materials, and process flow to minimize downtime.
• Follow safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
