Job summary

Altium Packaging in Dallas, Texas is seeking a Process Technician to manage mold and tooling changes on extrusion blow molding lines, start up and run production, and ensure bottles meet all quality specifications before release.

You will optimize processing parameters, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with Quality, Production and Maintenance to maintain safe, efficient, and high-quality operations while training operators and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of blow molding experience.
• Experience with mold/tooling changes.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold and neck tooling changeovers on extrusion blow molding equipment.
• Start up molds and run to production specs.
• Obtain quality approval on new setups before release.
• Optimize processing parameters (temperatures, die gaps, parison programming, shot size, cooling, timing).
• Monitor bottle quality and adjust to specifications.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues.
• Collaborate with Maintenance on repairs and improvements.
• Train operators and uphold safety.
