Job summary

Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. (ADS) is seeking a Plastic Manufacturing Technician in Michigan. This role focuses on packaging, labeling, and visual quality inspection on the production line, with responsibilities including line start-ups, shutdowns, and tooling changes.

The position requires 40+ hours weekly, including weekends as needed. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, dependable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings preferred.
• Able to perform physical labor in fluctuating temperatures.
• Capable of standing for long periods and handling materials.

Responsibilities

• Embrace a culture of safety.
• Perform final visual inspections and labeling of finished goods.
• Track quantity of units produced from the production line to ensure efficiency.
• Package pipe according to standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a safe working environment with PPE.
• Assist with line tooling changes, start-ups, shutdowns and downstream equipment setup.
• Learn pipe specifications and packaging requirements.
