Job summary

Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. is seeking a Plastic Manufacturing Technician to join our Owosso, MI production team.

You will be responsible for packaging, labeling and performing visual quality inspections on products produced on your line, and you will assist Line Operators with line start-ups, shutdowns and tooling changes. This position requires the flexibility to work 40+ hours per week and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Embrace a culture of safety.
• Conduct final visual inspections and label all finished goods.
• Track quantity of units produced from the production line to ensure efficiency.
• Package pipe to be delivered to customers according to SOPs.
• Maintain a safe working environment with proper use of PPE.
• Assist with line tooling changes, start-ups, and shutdowns.
• Learn pipe specifications and packaging requirements.
• Practice continuous improvement including housekeeping and lean initiatives.
