Job summary

Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. is seeking a Plastic Manufacturing Technician to support packaging, labeling and visual quality inspections on the production line in Buena Vista, Virginia.

The role also assists Line Operators with start-ups, shutdowns and tooling changes, contributing to meeting production goals. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on safety, quality and efficiency.

• Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods in fluctuating temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Embrace a culture of safety.
• Ensure quality by conducting final visual inspections and labeling all finished goods.
• Track quantity of units produced from the production line to ensure efficiency.
• Utilize standard operating procedures to package pipe to be delivered to customers.
• Maintain a safe working environment with PPE for safety.
• Assist with line tooling changes, start-ups, shutdowns and down-stream equipment set-up.
• Learn pipe specifications and packaging requirements.
• Practice continuous improvement for line and facility housekeeping.
• Invest in career with ADS through company training programs.
