Job summary

Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. is seeking a Plastic Manufacturing Technician in New York to handle packaging, labeling, and final visual inspections of produced goods on the production line.

You will assist Line Operators with start-ups, shutdowns and tooling changes, working to meet production goals in a 40+ hour per week schedule, including weekends. The role emphasizes safety and quality, with responsibilities spanning unit tracking, SOP-based packaging, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Embrace a culture of safety.
• Ensure quality by conducting final visual inspections and labeling all finished goods.
• Track quantity of units produced from the production line to ensure efficiency.
• Package pipe to be delivered to customers using standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a safe working environment with PPE.
• Assist with line tooling changes, start-ups, shutdowns and downstream equipment setup.
• Learn pipe specifications and packaging requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement including facility housekeeping.
