Job summary

Pretium Packaging in Greensboro, NC, is seeking a Machine Operator for 1st shift (7:50am–4:00pm). You will set up, operate, and maintain plastic molding equipment to produce quality products on assigned lines.

Responsibilities include monitoring performance, performing simple maintenance, inspecting finished goods, and keeping the work area safe, organized, and compliant with procedures and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in plastics or packaging is a plus.
• Strong reading of technical drawings and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate plastic molding machines according to established procedures.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust to maintain efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and specifications.
• Identify and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain defined levels of raw materials and keep work area clean.
