Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking an Machine Operator for the 2nd shift (3:50pm - 12:00am) to support plastic molding operations. You will set up, operate, and maintain molding equipment, ensuring products meet quality standards while following safety protocols.

You will also manage raw materials, document activities, and troubleshoot to minimize downtime on assigned lines. The role requires 1–2 years in plastics or packaging, HS diploma or GED, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and hands‑on problem solving.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with ERP systems, MaintainX preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks with urgency and safety in mind.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate plastic molding machines according to procedures.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust for optimal efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished products for quality and specifications.
• Identify and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain materials levels and keep work area clean and organized.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
