Job summary

Total Plastic Solutions, LLC in Lynchburg, VA is hiring Production Operators to perform inspection, secondary operations and packaging of plastic products. You will follow SOPs, work with IQMS, and maintain quality standards.

This full-time role offers three shifts and a benefits package including health, PTO, 401k, and life/disability insurance. Applicants should be able to lift 30 lbs and stand for 7.5 hours per shift.

Qualifications

• Essential knowledge: basic literacy and math; comprehension of written and verbal directions.
• Work experience: operating production equipment, hand tool use, packaging parts, quality control (maintaining visual standards).
• Physical: able to lift at least 30 lbs; standing 7.5 hours; flexible hours; able to reach overhead and bend as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily tasks following SOPs, WIs, and OP INS.
• Identify plastic defects using correct terminology; separate nonconforming products.
• Safely use tools and equipment required for production processes.
• Maintain cycle time targets when applicable.
• Complete end-of-shift housekeeping duties.
• Demonstrate competency with ISO standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485).
