Job Description

We are seeking a Plastics Machine Operator to maintain the machine and ensure the production of high-quality products at a Tier 1 Automotive facility. No prior experience is required for this position.

The Plastics Machine Operator will pick up plastic parts on a conveyor belt, check for visual quality defects, label the parts, and transport them to a workstation.

Shift(s) Available for Plastics Machine Operator:

1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm ($15.50/hr)

2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm ($15.50/hr + $.50 shift premium, incentive=$16.00/hr)

3rd Shift: 11:00pm - 7:00am ($15.50/hr + $1.50 shift premium incentive, total=$17.00/hr)

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Visually inspect parts for defects.
• Wipe, label, and sort parts.
• Maintain records of rejected and approved parts.
• Cut off excess plastic.
• Print labels and label boxes.
• Communicate effectively (written and verbal).
• Stand for up to 10 hours.
• Follow directions from supervisors.
• Be a team player.
