Job summary

Seaway Plastics is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Machine Operator I to help produce plastic parts by operating molding machines, trimming parts, performing basic quality checks, and completing simple assembly tasks. This hands-on role, based in Minnesota, offers steady daily hours and growth in a manufacturing environment. Hours: 6:45am - 3:15pm.

Pay: $17.25/hr - $18.00/hr. Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, legal work status in the United States, and the ability to lift

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or plastic injection molding preferred.
• Prior experience working in a clean room preferred.
• Able to read and comprehend production instructions and safety materials.
• Basic math: add, subtract, and divide in whole numbers and decimals.
• Occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
• Able to stand, bend, and stoop; work in a team environment.
• Walking and stair climbing may be required in office/shop areas.

Responsibilities

• Produce products within customer specifications per work instructions at each cell.
• Run each job efficiently to achieve high quality and low waste per production goals.
• Package product according to the part-packing plan.
• Visually or dimensionally inspect parts as prescribed by quality standards.
• Notify supervisor of defects or equipment issues.
• Verify box labels and quantities per work instructions.
• Complete production documentation and reporting requirements.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Keep machines and work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free.
• Demonstrate core values: Customer Focused, Execution, Respect, and Teamwork.
