Job summary

MME Group Inc. in Vadnais Heights, MN is seeking a reliable Machine Operator I to join our manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you will operate molding machines, trim parts, perform basic quality checks, and assist with simple assembly tasks.

You will work with teammates to keep production flowing and learn valuable skills in a manufacturing environment. Hours are 6:45am to 3:15pm, with a pay rate of $17.25 to $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Ability to legally work in the United States.
• Experience in manufacturing or plastic injection molding preferred.
• Experience in a clean room preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend production instructions, policy manuals, safety instructions, etc.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical computations using whole numbers and decimals.
• Ability to occasionally lift 30 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, and stoop.
• Ability to work and communicate in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce products within customer specifications per work instructions posted at each work cell.
• Run each job efficiently, with the aim of high quality and low waste, per production goals.
• Package product per the part-packing plan.
• Visually or dimensionally inspect parts as prescribed by the quality standards.
• Notify supervisor of any product defects or equipment issues.
• Verify and ensure box labels and quantities according to work instructions.
• Complete production documentation and reporting requirements.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Keep machines and work areas clean, orderly and hazard-free.
