Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, is seeking a production lead to oversee plastic extrusion production of raw materials into finished goods. You will lead a team of operators and technicians, ensure equipment operates efficiently, uphold quality standards, and drive safety on the shift.

You will coordinate tasks, troubleshoot issues, maintain SOPs, analyze production data, and collaborate with maintenance and quality to meet production targets while reducing waste and costs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in manufacturing is a plus.
• Experience in plastics/manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate production activities for plastic extrusion on the shift.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance to team members.
• Ensure equipment setup, SOP adherence, and routine maintenance coordination.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs with maintenance.
• Assist supervisor with production planning, staffing, and scheduling.
• Recruit, orient, and train staff; support personal growth.
• Resolve personnel issues with data-driven analysis and action.
• Facilitate effective interdepartmental communication and reporting.
• Enforce safety, quality, and housekeeping standards; promote continuous improvement.
