Qualifications

• At least 3 years of Lead/Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to operate under pressure, meet strict deadlines, effectively prioritize workload and capacity to multi-task.
• Ability to lead by example and build effective teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a factory environment and perform manual labor.

Responsibilities

• Supervise personnel, production workflow, safety and quality.
• Operate all stations of the work center for training and troubleshooting.
• Ensure safety procedures are understood by employees.
• Assist Production Manager with staffing and workflow.
• Train new hires and transfers into the department.
• Conduct shift handovers and communicate critical information.
• Lead shift meetings to review safety and tasks.
• Ensure proper safety equipment usage and safety awareness.
• Enforce quality control procedures and production standards.
• Report safety hazards or equipment issues to maintenance.
• Provide feedback on performance to the Production Manager.
• Maintain attendance and adherence to safety policies.
• Assist with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Prepare end-of-shift production reports and summarize department output.
• Support monthly safety trainings and cross-functional communication.
