The role requires attention to safety, accurate documentation, and the ability to operate automated plasmapheresis equipment, responding to alarms and maintaining compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Three (3) months' experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.
• Completed documentation of training appropriate for duties before performing duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Execute the plasmapheresis process by performing venipunctures and plasma collection.
• Maintain donor confidentiality and ensure accurate identification per SOPs.
• Set up equipment and supplies, label units correctly, and maintain a clean work environment.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines, monitor alarms, and respond to donor adverse events.
