CSL is seeking a plasma processing technician to ensure accurate sampling, testing, shipping and storage of donor plasma. You will follow SOPs and report to the Assistant Center Manager.

The role requires meticulous labeling, sterile technique, proper freezer storage, and timely documentation. You may be cross-trained and must adhere to HSE/OSHA safety policies in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and basic math skills are essential to succeed in this hands-on position.

Formación

• Minimum three months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment
• Able to perform basic math calculations

Responsabilidades

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality
• Store plasma units according to SOPs and handle unsuitable plasma units per guidelines
• Verify labeling accuracy by matching pre-printed and dynamic labels
• Use sterile technique to draw samples and ensure sterility of plasma unit samples per SOPs
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation as required
• Monitor freezer/refrigerator temperatures and report equipment issues promptly
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system as outlined
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow HSE/OSHA policies
• Occasionally cross-train in other areas to meet business needs
