Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our plasma center team in Joplin, MO. You will greet donors, perform venipuncture, operate plasmapheresis machines, monitor donors, and manage donor data.

The role supports center operations and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment. You should have a high school diploma, be able to stand for long periods, and be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have good customer or patient-facing experience.
• Ability to stand/walk for long shifts.
• Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors entering and exiting the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and operate plasmapheresis machines.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime and disconnect disposables on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal.
• Record donor measures and enter data into the DIS.
• Coordinate donors to the donor floor and compensate donors via Debit Card system.
• Support center management in process improvements using 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
