Job summary

CSL Plasma in Town of Cheektowaga, NY is seeking a Plasma Donor Center Technician to ensure accurate sampling, storage and handling of donor plasma. You will follow SOPs, maintain sterile technique, and support shipping and documentation needs.

The role requires basic math, attention to labeling accuracy, and willingness to work in a fast-paced plasma center environment. Bilingual abilities may be needed, and overtime is common.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality.
• Store plasma units according to SOPs and handle unsuitable plasma as required.
• Verify pre-printed label matches the dynamic label to ensure accuracy.
• Use sterile technique to draw samples and heat seal to assure sterility and quality.
• Pack and ship samples and units as per SOPs; prepare shipping and disposal documentation.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures; report variances promptly.
