• Ability to perform precise, coordinated finger, hand and wrist movements.
• Hearing acuity essential.
• Color perception/discrimination.
• Near and far vision correctable in one eye to 20/30 and in the other eye to 20/100.
• Ability to lift 15 lbs., with a maximum lift of 50 lbs.
• Ability to work sitting or standing for the entire shift, bend, twist the neck and waist, and perform frequent hand and foot movements.
• Ability to relate sensitive information to diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-donation medical screening.
• Interact with donors and respond to customer needs.
• Assess donor suitability and engage in set-up.
• Provide appropriate feedback to ineligible donor candidates.
• Ensure all donor screening information is complete.
• Ensure donor confidentiality.
• Perform tasks in a plasma center with exposure to biological fluids and equipment.
• Perform a wide range of complex tasks under variable demands and changing conditions.
