Job summary

CSL Plasma in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a plasma collection technician to perform venipuncture and monitor pheresis procedures, following SOPs to collect plasma efficiently and safely.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 12 months in a medical setting; CA centers have additional certification requirements. Base pay ranges from $18.68/hour to $22.10/hour, depending on qualifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum twelve (12) months experience in a medical/health care environment preferred or equivalent.
• For Centers located in CA the following experience is also required: state certified as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician I, OR Current RN by the State of California.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma from donors by performing venipuncture and monitoring the pheresis process per SOPs.
• Prepare donor setup, monitor donor during pheresis and disconnect after collection.
• Educate donors on the process, answer questions, and ensure donor safety and a positive experience.
• Record donor data and monitor for adverse events using the PDA.
• Maintain clean work area and comply with HSE and OSHA policies.
