Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a Donor Plasma Collection Technician to perform venipuncture and pheresis procedures in a fast-paced center. You will monitor donors, ensure safety, accurately record data, and maintain equipment and a clean work area.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 12 months in a medical/health care setting. California centers have additional certification requirements; other locations prioritize safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum twelve (12) months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.
• For Centers located in CA the following experience is also required:Persons performing automated plasmapheresis procedures must be at a minimum state certified as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician I, OR Current Registered Nurse by the State of California.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and pheresis procedures to collect plasma in accordance with SOPs.
• Monitor donors during the pheresis process and ensure donor safety and comfort.
• Record donor data accurately and maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area.
• Troubleshoot equipment and respond to alarms or issues during donation.
• Educate donors on the donation process and answer questions as needed.
