Job summary

CSL in Las Vegas, NV, seeks a licensed healthcare professional to evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis, supervise immunizations, and provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff. You will conduct donor interviews, respond to medically related questions, review health data, and counsel on reactive tests, while maintaining compliance with SOPs.

Qualifications

• Active state licensure from a paramedic, nursing, physician assistant, chiropractic, naturopathic training program or medical school.
• Minimum of one year experience in a health care environment or clinical experience from a vocational or nursing program.
• Experience in a plasma or whole blood collection center or other regulated environment preferred.
• Ability to assess physical signs and symptoms affecting donor suitability.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures.
• Administer and supervise approved immunizations.
• Provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff.
• Conduct confidential donor interviews to determine suitability for donation.
• Respond to medically related questions with medical staff guidance.
• Review donor health data and test results for ongoing suitability.
• Counsel donors on reactive test results and follow-up options.
• Explain informed consent and donor rights.
• Maintain accurate donor data in electronic management system.
• Ensure a safe, compliant work environment per SOPs, HSE and OSHA.
