Job summary

Kedrion Biopharma Inc. (KEDPLASMA) seeks licensed healthcare professionals (EMT/LMN/RN/LPN) to support donor safety in a regulated plasma donation setting. You will evaluate eligibility, manage medical incidents, and help ensure a positive donor experience.

You will work with the Center Medical Director, administer immunizations, monitor reactions, and assist with plasmapheresis while maintaining strict documentation and compliance with SOPs.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice in the state where the center operates.
• CPR certification currently
• Experience in healthcare setting preferred
• Familiarity with FDA/OSHA/CLIA regulations beneficial
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and assess donor eligibility for plasmapheresis and immunization programs.
• Review donor health history and lab results to determine suitability and consult with the Center Medical Director as needed.
• Educate donors on the donation process, risks, benefits and informed consent.
• Administer immunizations and monitor adverse reactions, documenting procedures accurately.
• Respond to donor reactions with appropriate treatment and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain and monitor emergency medical equipment and ensure readiness.
• Notify donors of positive viral marker results and provide confidential counseling.
• Participate in safety committee activities and educate staff on donor suitability and medical protocols.
• Manage employee immunization programs and ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
• Assist with plasmapheresis and whole blood procedures when needed.
• Maintain donor charts and review medical incidents appropriately.
• Promote donor retention by creating a welcoming, safe experience.
