Qualifications

• Experience operating plasma-cutting equipment or similar machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in reading and math assessments during screening.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines in a fast-paced shop.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate plasma cutting equipment to produce parts per specs.
• Interpret drawings to determine cutting requirements and dimensions.
• Adjust cutting speed, gas flow, and torch height for quality cuts.
• Monitor processes and ensure consistency and precision of pieces.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
• Follow safety rules and operate cranes or forklifts as needed.
• Confirm work orders and stage material for production.
• Support ongoing housekeeping and efficiency improvements.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
