Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking qualified personnel at our donor center in Texas to perform plasma collection and processing in a regulated environment. You will follow SOPs, monitor donor conditions, and maintain accurate records to ensure quality and safety.

You will operate automated plasmapheresis machines, manage samples and product storage, and uphold cleanliness and compliance throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Three (3) months’ experience in clerical or customer service position preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge and skills required.
• Ability to speak, read, write (legibly and accurately), and understand English required.
• Strong customer service skills required.
• Strong organizational skills required.
• Ability to read, follow, and interpret regulations, instructions and manuals required.
• Ability to understand verbal instruction required.
• Ability to read numbers on screening equipment and perform basic mathematical calculations required.
• Effective communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure donor meets eligibility criteria based on SOPs and perform donor vitals evaluation.
• Register applicant donors per SOPs and maintain donor confidentiality and record-keeping.
• Set up and operate plasmapheresis equipment and respond to machine alarms and donor adverse events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the donor center and ensure proper PPE usage.
• Handle product processing and storage per SOPs and transport regulations.
