Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a QA Manager to join the plasma center management team. You will ensure all activities related to plasma collection, donor eligibility, and product quality comply with applicable regulations and company policies.

The role involves leading QA activities, audits, training, and continuous improvement initiatives to uphold regulatory compliance and product quality across centers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Quality Assurance role.
• Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and quality control processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate independently of plasma center Operations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain current knowledge of regulations and standards affecting plasma collection and donor safety.
• Report critical incidents and negative trends to operations and Regional Quality Director.
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure product quality and donor safety.
• Monitor quality performance indicators, including deviations, CAPAs, and complaints.
• Oversee QA processes: donor screening, plasma collection, storage, and shipping.
• Perform final QA review and release for all product shipments and documents.
