Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Missoula, MT is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist. You will greet donors, perform venipuncture and plasmapheresis machine programming, monitor donors, and support center operations with lean process improvements.

Responsibilities include setup and troubleshooting of equipment, stock management, and accurate donor data entry into the system. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required, with potential to advance within a fast-paced plasma donation center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift to 32 lbs. and occasionally 50 lbs.
• 1+ year minimum experience in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture of donors and programming of plasmapheresis machines.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage donor reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment within training scope.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies, break down cartons, and assist with disposal.
• Record donor measurements (pulse, BP, temperature) and monitor DIS entry.
• Enter donor information into the Donor Information System (DIS).
• Coordinate donors to donor floor and compensate donors using Debit Card system.
• Support center management in identifying operational improvements using 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen.
