Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Bolingbrook, IL is hiring a Plasma Donor Screener/Phlebotomy assistant. You will greet donors, screen and record vital signs, and support center operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include donor screening, phlebotomy support, maintaining accurate donor charts, and coordinating donor compensation. The role requires standing most of the shift and the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• 1+ years minimum experience in customer or patient facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors and focus on donors while ensuring safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and initiate changes to center procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
