Job summary

Kedrion Biopharma Inc. seeks an Assistant Manager to lead operations at a plasma collection center in Houston. You will support the Center Manager, oversee daily activities, ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and drive donor satisfaction and team performance.

You’ll coordinate staffing, oversee equipment, and maintain records, while ensuring adherence to cGMP, SOPs, and client specifications in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or management experience in a plasma or regulated environment.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
• Knowledge of plasma operations and regulatory requirements (FDA/CLIA/good practice) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote professional customer service and donor retention through staff coaching and support.
• Ensure all center activities comply with SOPs, FDA, EMEA, and customer specifications.
• Maintain operational efficiency and fiscal responsibility per cGMP and QAP standards.
• Support donor programs, including titer testing and antibody identification.
• Oversee daily logs, temperature checks, and quality control.
• Collaborate with management to ensure staffing coverage for donation volumes.
• Maintain personnel records, evaluations, training, and attendance.
• Schedule staff changes, vacations, and absenteeism.
• Identify and address quality or compliance issues proactively.
• Monitor inventory levels for production needs.
• Manage equipment maintenance and resolve issues promptly.
• Respond to freezer alarms and excursions to protect product quality.
• Participate in deviation management, documentation, investigations, and CAPA.
• Perform opening/closing duties and security protocols.
