BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support center operations in Denton, TX. You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, manage donor safety, and document medical findings, under the Center Manager and Center Physician guidance.

The role requires EMT-Paramedic licensing, State CPR/AED certification, and at least two years of clinical experience.

Competenze

• Must hold EMT-Paramedic license/certification in the state of employment.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Mansioni

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion, medical history interview, physical exam, blood testing, and SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs; coordinate with Center Physician and Medical Affairs as needed.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings or guidance on medical/technical issues.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Manage employee incidents and determine need for occupational health/ER evaluation; follow EHS guidance.

High school diploma or nursing program equivalent (state requirements)
