BioLife Plasma Services is hiring a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations in Charlotte, NC. You will determine donor eligibility, review lab results, and manage donor safety under physician guidance.

Role requires LPN/LVN license, CPR and AED certifications, and 2 years in a clinical setting. The position offers full-time work with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Nursing license/certification required (LPN/LVN) and current CPR/AED certifications.
• Experience in donor screening or clinical setting is preferred.
• Ability to assess donor eligibility, consent, medical history and review lab results.

Responsabilités

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, AIDS education and self-exclusion, medical history interview and acceptance requirements, physical examination, blood testing, and SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies following SOPs; refer to Center Physician when needed.
• Review laboratory results and notify donors of unsuitable results; support donor safety and transport when necessary.
• Support vaccination programs for employees and manage incidents per EHS guidance; participate in pandemic coordination if authorized.
