Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Beaumont, TX is hiring a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse). You will determine donor eligibility, review lab results, and manage donor safety under the supervision of the Center Manager and Center Physician.

The role requires LPN/LVN licensure (or equivalent), CPR/AED certification, and clinical experience. Part-time position with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Responsible for donor eligibility determination, informed consent, and donor education.
• Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
• Coordinate with Center Physician and Medical Affairs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility via medical history, exam, and SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical guidance.
• Support employee vaccination programs as applicable.
• Manage incidents with occupational health/ER and EHS guidance.
• Assist Pandemic Coordinator role if authorized by EHS.
