Qualifications

• Currently licensed or certified as LPN or LVN in Texas.
• Satisfactorily complete the FDA-approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and manage informed consent and medical history interviews.
• Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies.
• Support vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and determine required evaluations.
• Serve as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS.

Skills

CPR and AED certification

Knowledge of plasma collection regulations

High school diploma or equivalent

Two years in a clinical or hospital setting

Basic IV therapy knowledge

Education

Graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program
