Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Kyle, TX is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations and donor care. You will determine donor eligibility, manage adverse events, review SPE test results, and notify donors of unsuitable outcomes under supervision of the Center Manager and Center Physician.

Qualifications include an LPN/LVN license, CPR/AED certification, IV therapy training, and at least two years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or LVN with active state licensure.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• State requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent and self-exclusion.
• Evaluate donor reactions and review laboratory test results.
• Notify donors of unsuitable test results and coordinate care.
• Provide center-level clinical guidance under the Center Manager and Center Physician.
