Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Colorado (Longmont) is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review test results, and notify donors of unsuitable findings.

The role reports to the Center Manager and requires clinical experience in a hospital setting and proper state licensure. Responsibilities include following SOPs, coordinating with the Center Physician, supporting EHS programs, and participating

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus graduate nursing program licensure requirements.
• Currently licensed or certified in the responsible state (EMT-B/A/I/P, LPN/LVN, RN).
• CPR and AED certification currently held.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical history.
• Manage donor adverse events and review laboratory test results.
• Notify donors of unsuitable test results and guide medical decisions.
