Job summary

CSL is seeking a qualified clinical professional to evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures at our plasma center. You will interview donors, review medical histories and provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff in line with your licensure or certification.

In collaboration with the Center Medical Director, you will respond to medically related questions, interpret test results, and counsel donors on reactive findings.

Qualifications

• Interviews donors and reviews medical history to determine donation suitability.
• Provides limited emergency medical care per licensure/certification.
• Assesses heart and lung sounds and signs of drug use during donor evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures.
• Provide emergency medical care to donors and staff within licensure.
• Interview donors and review medical history for donation eligibility.
• Answer medically related questions with Center Medical Director and staff.
• Review test results to confirm continued donor suitability.
• Counsel donors regarding reactive test results and refer for follow-up.
• Follow SOPs for routine care and escalate critical cases to physician.
