Job summary

CSL in the United States operates plasma donation centers. The role ensures donor suitability through interviews, medical history reviews, immunizations administration and limited emergency care to donors and staff, following SOPs.

Reporting to the Center Manager, you will coordinate with the Center Medical Director and maintain accurate donor records, uphold safety standards, and participate in immunization programs as required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited paramedic, nursing, PA, chiropractic, medical school or naturopathic medical training program.
• If graduation is from a foreign allopathic or osteopathic medical school, must also currently be licensed as a physician or state certification as an emergency medical technician

Responsibilities

• Interview donors to determine suitability for plasma donation.
• Respond to medical questions with Center Medical Director guidance.
• Perform donor health assessments and review lab results.
• Notify and counsel donors on reactive test results.
• Explain informed consent and obtain signatures.
• Maintain donor data in the information system.
• Ensure safety and comply with SOPs and OSHA/HSE policies.
