Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, and manage donor safety under supervision of Center Manager and Center Physician in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities include evaluating donor reactions, coordinating emergencies, and supporting vaccination programs and environmental, health and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must hold active LPN or LVN license in the state of assignment.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Minimum two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, HIV education and self-exclusion, medical history, physical exam, SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and coordinate medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer medical issues to Center Physician or Medical Affairs as needed; support EHS guidance.
