Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Plant Processing Manager to supervise hourly production teams at the Detroit-area waste treatment facility. You will ensure production goals and permit obligations are met under RCRA regulations, overseeing inbound/outbound operations and safety programs.

In this role you will manage budgets, optimize processes, develop KPI targets, and lead a team to deliver compliant, cost-efficient operations while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; BA/BS preferred in environmental field.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER training required or ability to obtain.
• Minimum 5 years in environmental/hazardous waste operations.
• Knowledge of RCRA and DoT regulations related to waste transport.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound waste receiving, lab operations, and waste processing to meet goals and compliance.
• Supervise outbound shipping, facilities management, and KPI tracking.
• Develop cost plans and capital expense requests.
• Lead and develop staff, ensure safety and regulatory adherence.
• Ensure paperwork flow and customer satisfaction.
