Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Plant Processing Manager to supervise hourly production staff and ensure compliant waste treatment and disposal operations at the Detroit facility. This role emphasizes safety, regulatory adherence, and cost management while driving continuous improvement.

The candidate will oversee inbound, processing, and outbound workflows, manage plant budgets, and lead a team to meet production goals in alignment with company standards and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required or equivalent experience.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER training completed or ability to obtain.
• Experience in environmental/hazardous waste management operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound waste receiving, lab operations, and waste acceptance.
• Develop and implement cost management plans and production KPIs.
• Lead plant staff, coaching and training to meet safety and performance goals.
• Ensure compliance with RCRA, DoT, and company policies across operations.
