Job summary

PF Holdings is seeking a Plant Utility to perform day-to-day duties safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean work site. The role requires adherence to safety programs, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and compliance with all safety policies.

Responsibilities include operating and servicing small equipment, performing pre-operation checks, site housekeeping, and participation in safety meetings.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, speak and write English.
• Must understand or be familiar with safety policies and procedures.
• Able to work under stressful conditions and outside in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed.
• Be cognizant of and adhere to safety requirements.
• Participate in safety meetings.
• Shoveling, sweeping, and monitoring.
• Operate and service small equipment.
• Understand or have familiarity with all power and small tools.
• Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment.
• Clean, lubricate and fuel all equipment and general site housekeeping.
• Ensure safety fences, markings, berms are in place.
• Notify supervisor and/or maintenance of any required work to be done.
• Performs other related duties as required
