Job summary

Alpine Silica is seeking a Plant Utility to perform day-to-day duties in a safe and timely manner while maintaining a clean work site. The role supports safety programs and contributes as a team member in a plant environment.

Responsibilities include following safety policies, operating and servicing equipment, conducting pre-operation checks, and keeping the site organized. The position requires the ability to lift, walk on uneven ground, and work outdoors with exposure to weather.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed.
• Be cognizant of and adhere to safety requirements.
• Participate in all safety meetings.
• Shoveling, sweeping, and monitoring.
• Must be familiar with operating and servicing small equipment.
• Must understand or have familiarity with all power and small tools.
• Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment.
• Clean, lubricate and fuel all equipment and general site housekeeping.
• Ensure safety fences, markings, berms are all in place.
• Notify supervisor and/or maintenance of any required work to be done.
• Performs other related duties as required.
