Job summary

Alpine Silica is seeking a Plant Utility in Texas to perform day-to-day tasks safely and efficiently, contributing to a clean, well-maintained work site. You will follow the safety program and work as a reliable team member to support operations at the facility.

Key duties include adhering to safety policies, operating and servicing small equipment, conducting pre-operation checks, and maintaining general site housekeeping.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to read, speak and write English.
• Able to work in a plant environment and outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed
• Be cognizant of and adhere to safety requirements
• Participate in all safety meetings
• Shoveling, sweeping, and monitoring
• Must be familiar with operating and servicing small equipment
• Must understand or have familiarity with all power and small tools
• Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment
• Clean, lubricate and fuel all equipment and general site housekeeping
• Ensure safety fences, markings, berms are all in place
• Notify supervisor and/or maintenance of any required work to be done
• Performs other related duties as required
