Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking an Associate Recruiter in Rockingham, NC to support plant staffing through full life cycle recruiting and a strong pipeline of hourly candidates. You will collaborate with operations and HR to attract, engage, and hire talent that sustains business success.

The role emphasizes a fast-paced environment, strong communication, and a commitment to a positive candidate experience. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications or related field or equivalent work experience.
At least 1 year of proven work experience as a Sourcer, Recruiter, or similar role.
Experience with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems and/or Candidate Management Systems.
Knowledge of laws surrounding the interview process and familiarity with AAP/EEO requirements.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all organizational levels.
Ability to travel for company business or training as needed.

Responsibilities

Full life cycle recruitment of general labor, hourly associate roles for the plant.
Develop, implement and measure recruiting processes to maintain staffing levels.
Partner with plant management and HR to facilitate interviews and hiring.
Innovate methods to improve recruiting and candidate experience.
Maintain ATS and candidate pipelines to ensure efficient progression through hiring stages.
