Job summary

The Maintenance Specialist/System Owner position at Plant Barry is responsible for the overall health of the Balance of Plant systems, which include Systems L, M, H, S, and P for the Plant Barry Combine Cycle Units 6 & 7.

This position is accountable for ongoing development and execution of the maintenance strategy including condition assessment, outage planning, work scope execution, implementation of improvements and system budget ownership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years Power Plant Generation experience or related industrial maintenance/operations.
• Extensive knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, breakers and similar equipment.
• Experience with a Work Order System (Maximo or equivalent) and MS Office.
• Ability to work with diverse teams and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor routine plant equipment; develop improvements and action plans.
• Coordinate maintenance crews and contractors for service/work scopes.
• Ensure quality, cost control, and compliance with OSHA and environmental rules.
• Make technical repairs decisions and leverage internal/external resources.
• Develop maintenance strategies and budget for current and 5-year outlook.
• Provide detailed work plans, materials, and effective inter-group communication.
